Blackfriars Medical Practice is an NHS GP Surgery based in London. They offer a variety of different clinics for people in their local community.
With most appointments being changed to telephone appointments during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Blackfriars were relying heavily on their phones to assist their patients. With their current system only allowing them to make up to 4 outbound calls at a time, at times, members of the team were having to use their personal mobiles for appointments.
As well as this, Blackfriars were also looking to reduce their telecoms costs as they had sky-high bills each month.
In order to best solve the issues Blackfriars were facing, a cloud based system with hardware on site for business continuity was by far their best option.
This new system can also integrate with their clinical system (EMIS), saving them and their patients time each call, ultimately improving their patient experience.
Not only has their new system enabled them to speak to more patients simultaneously, but it has also reduced their monthly telecoms bills. Both the clinical and admin staff are thrilled with the new system, and are utilising all of its new features including call logging and call recording.
The EMIS Integration also helps provide a better experience for patients and staff members alike, saving them time and providing a more personal interaction.
